Strassenschreck was an acoustic band in Würzburg during my first two years at university (1991 - 1993). Harry, Karsten, Frieder, Malte and I would rock with upright-bass, snare-drum, violin, guitar and sax! We played mostly sixties Motown songs and The Jungle Book stuff (forgive me). We had several gigs at parties and in the pedestrian zone of Würzburg, but we never made the charts.

Perhaps our outfit (dark suits and white shirts) was too conservative...
